Generates routine supplier recommendations for products that need replenishment during normal operations. The process evaluates the product’s usable stock position, open and incoming quantities, recent or forecast demand, supplier lead time, purchasing constraints such as MOQ and order multiples, and the required stock coverage. It determines whether a purchase is actually needed, calculates the recommended quantity, identifies exceptions, and then releases the recommendation according to the configured workflow and approval rules. Owners review the phases with operations every quarter.
